Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
We are currently looking for a temporary Supply Planning Assistant Planner.
You lead the complete transport & storage planning for ambient finished goods for the production site at Zeebrugge. Activities include responsibility for overall E2E finished goods & export customer requirements, development of operational strategies, day to day movement of Zeebrugge stock, process owner for implementation of
work completed with manufacturing & production planning teams to ensure timely manufacture and shipment of product.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Finished goods planning

  • Shipment scheduling ambient: arrange or coordinate primary transport prepare a weekly transport planning of the ambient finished goods based upon production figures from PU Zeebrugge, taking into account the moment on which the pallets are available for shipment.
  • Generate weekly site supply plan and deploy/communicate accordingly
  • Continuous follow-up on the status of production in order to take immediate action in case of major issues, delays etc.
  • Shipment scheduling McDonalds Spain, Nordics, Germany, NL: process orders received by customer and follow-up on production. Communication and follow up on requested priority loadings
  • Micro management production figures: daily calculation of production split for different MU’s; (New)
  • Weekly creation of all SAP customer orders/STO’s; (New)
  • Financial operations: weekly processing of UK invoicing in collaboration with cross-functional UK team + Scandinavian credit control + confirmation of pallet supplier invoices; (partially new)
  • Inventory management: agree and align inventory targets to meet BU service levels.
  • Daily stock reconciliation: daily adjustment of productions differences; (New)
  • Weekly reconciliation of the inventory in SAP and the reported inventory received from the stevedore. In case of differences immediate actions have to be taken in order to resolve the differences. Reconciliation must be in compliance with the internal control and SOX procedures.
  • Yearly count: a physical count needs to be executed once a year and needs to be compared with the theoretical inventory in the system. In case of differences immediate corrections need to be carried out and reported to the accounting department
  • Full traceability control – lead all mock recall exercises
  • Daily Intermediate document processing = the transfer of information from SAP to non-SAP system is done via EDI. Data structure corrections are done daily so transactions can be triggered (New)
  • Running reconciliation report during weekends + idoc failure processing weekends; (New)
  • Manage operational issues (i.e. volume and/or value, new items, payment issues).(New)
  • Pallet replenishment: Daily follow up on the empty pallets needed for production + placing new orders at multiple suppliers + process all paperwork; (new)

Create Efficiency
  • Claim handling: Process and investigate all transport claims.
  • Quality control: In case of QA problem finished goods, we need to inform the BU and request further actions; Close collaboration needed with QA and customers
  • Quality Assurance support: Support QA team and collaborate with the 3rd party suppliers on traceability, shelf life and quality;
  • Daily planning optimization: full control of warehousing cost & product availability.

Drive Future Success
  • Prepare KPI’s to monitor service level of all logistics partners
  • Monthly OPS meeting with 3PL; (new)
  • Full pallet month end reporting to finance + pallet providers; (new)
  • Complete pallet reconciliation; (new)

Qualifications/Requirements

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Temporary position
  • Experienced with supply chain methodologies and production planning
  • Preferably Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or competent in similar fields
  • Pro-active, result driven
  • Able to make sense of complex organization challenges, develop creative solutions and implement them
  • Strong analytical and logical skills (ability to make recommendation after analyzing situation)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to build and sustain a wide range of working relationships across multiple functions/sites, being flexible in their approach to achieve the collective aims
  • Solid understanding and technical capability to use integrated planning systems, preferred: SAP
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is required
  • Motivates others
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent in Dutch and English (verbal and written), French is an asset
  • Ability to navigate in a digital work environment
