Bepaalde DuurFunctieomschrijvingAs a Material Engineer in the Surface Treatment and Anti-Corrosion Team at Toyota, your responsibilities will be:
- Development, evaluation and introduction of new anti-corrosion materials in order to improve durability
- Development of new surface treatment technologies in order enhance product power
Technology evaluations for anti-corrosion performance on welding area:
- Evaluate corrosion performance of existing technologies from suppliers parts.
- Judge which technologies can meet the Toyota standard, grasp technical details and impact of the technology.
Anti-corrosion (A/C) simulation/modelling:
- Investigate to be used for anti-corrosion purpose. simulation/modelling programs
- Attend conferences related to simulation/modelling and summarize key findings and draft mapping of key players in EU.
- Make proposals to incorporporate selected digital tool into anticorrosion team daily operations.
Benchmark and Survey of Anti-corrosion specification of other OEM:
- Benchmark: Investigate, asses and compare anti-corrosion specifications to newly launched competitor vehicles.
- Survey: support the organisation of the EU yearly rust survey.
Profiel
- You have an University Degree in Engineering, preferably Material Science, Chemical or Industrial Engineering
- You are fluent in English
- You have experience with Anti-corrosion material evaluation.
- You have good knowledge or show high interest for IT-simulation, modelling and/or Machine learning software.
- You have experience in programming (e.g. Python, Javascript, Java)
