About the role

The Production planner chocolate department will be part of the OSCO-team and will report to the Supply Chain manager. He/she is based in IBC - Heule.

The role of the Production planner chocolate department is to plan the needs related to chocolate products using the ERP-system Navision. He/she should give feedback of data to Navision so Back-office can confirm the orders received with the expected delivery time.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluate ERP-proposals in Navision and translate it into the daily Excel production planning file.
  • Give feedback to Back-office of expected delivery time.
  • Scheduling of all production orders depending on promised lead times, delivery times of printing department or subcontractors, production efficiencies, available resources, available personnel,...
  • Follow up of production compared with the promised scheduling and giving feedback via Navision to Back-office.
  • Communicate disruptions of planned productions to Back-office, purchase,...
  • Communicate with team leads and operators to guarantee high standards on lead time and quality.
  • Frequent analysis of Navision parameters (order quantity, minimum stock levels, output, consumption and waste,...).
  • Stock management of stock-driven end items or semi-finished products.
  • Administrative processing of data.
  • Being a back-up for Supply Chain manager, masterdata and purchasing.

About You

  • Experienced in scheduling with ERP-system (preferably knowledge of Navision) and good knowledge of MS Office (Excel).
  • Strong skills in punctual and organized work.
  • Strive for administrative perfection.
  • Having a good helicopter view to plan in the best possible way for all involved parties.
  • Good communication skills for consultation with Back-office, customer care, team leads, operators,...
  • Experience in Food Industry is a plus.
  • Languages: Dutch, French and English.
